PeopleSoft Object Types - Internals

Internals type objects model XML/INI files that are stored in SCM or PEOPLESOFT. They are used to copy files from an SCM or PEOPLESOFT to a filesystem on an endpoint where they are executed by set of Peoplesoft commands.

ADDITIONAL_PARAMS

Additional parameters to be added to the PeopleTools command.

 

Execute SQL

Should SQL be executed

Retry Count

RETRY_COUNT

How many times should the file be retried before marking it as a failure. It may be useful to set it to a larger value if deploying many files together if the selected order may not be correct.

FDPSOFT_INTERNALS_RETRY_COUNT_DEFAULT is the project property that fills in the default value at evaluate or populate time.

Property Replacement

PROPERTY_REPLACEMENT

If checked, property replacement will be run on the file, unless it appears to be a binary file, and then it will be skipped for property replacement.

FDPSOFT_INTERNALS_PROPERTY_REPLACEMENT_DEFAULT is the project property to control the default.

Internals Project Name

INTERNALS_PROJECT_NAME

PeopleSoft project Name. Normally, the filename name of the XML.

For example: your file path was /internals/FD_INTERNALS_PROJECT.XML

then the default value would be : FD_INTERNALS_PROJECT

Rollback Source Type

ROLLBACK_SOURCE_TYPE

Where to retrieve file when initiating a rollback deployment.

Options are Project Version, SCM Revision, Backup Repository, and Rollback File

SCM Revision and Rollback File options are only available when the project has SCM details configured, and Backup Repository should only be used if the FlexDeploy server and project are configured to take backups.

ROLLBACK_FILE

The associated file to deploy which will roll back this file. Only applicable when Rollback Source Type is Rollback File
