domainStop
Stops all servers in WebLogic domain including the Admin Server except for servers listed in FDWLS_STOP_SERVER_EXCLUDE_LIST
. Non WSM servers are stopped first, then servers with WLS_WSM
in name (WLS_WSM1, WLS_WSM2
etc.) are stopped. This is done as various Fusion Middleware products are dependent on WSM servers and stopping them later helps avoid issues. Admin Server is stopped last.
Managed servers on various machines are stopped in parallel. You can control what percentage of servers are stopped on each machine by using FDWLS_INP_MAX_PERCENT_SIMULTANEOUS
. This is done to control CPU utilization on each machine by controlling how many servers are stopped on each machine. This value defaults to 20 percent.
This operation can also be used to stop servers on specific machine by providing value for FDWLS_INP_MACHINE_NAME
input.

Artifacts
This operation doesn't consume or produce any artifacts.
Endpoint Selection
This operation will select all available endpoints associated to the environment instance which have a resource type of WLS Admin Server
. Since the admin server only runs on one server, it is expected that for a given domain, there will only be one endpoint with a resource type set to WLS Admin Server
.
Endpoint Execution
This operation will execute on the Admin Server endpoint selected using the WLS Admin Server
resource type.
