- This operation starts the WildFly Host Controller process.
- The startHostController operation is only applicable in Domain mode.
- This operation is supported for WildFly 8, 9 and 10 versions.
Environment/Instance Properties

FDWFLY_ADMIN_LISTEN_ADDRESS | Yes | The url of the Manager web application within the WildFly server. |
FDWFLY_ADMIN_LISTEN_PORT | Yes | The port number of the manager web application within the WildFly server. |
FDWFLY_ADMIN_USER | Yes | The name of the WildFly user with which to connect to the Manager web application. This user must be configured with the add-user script file. |
FDWFLY_ADMIN_PASSWORD | Yes | The password for the FDWFLY_ADMIN_USER user. |
FDWFLY_START_SERVER_TIMEOUT | No | Time in seconds that the plugin operation will wait for the server to respond. Plugin operation will return as soon as the server responds, but if the operation doesn't complete before the timeout specified, the plugin operation will fail. |
