Accessibility Preferences

Located under the User Profile screen, the Accessibility tab controls behavior that is customizable for someone who may have low-vision or is reliant on the keyboard for interacting with FlexDeploy. For more information, see User Accessibility.

Adjust Duration of Time-Sensitive Notifications

For notifications that appear for a set period of time (e.g snack messages), the duration for which they will appear on screen can be adjusted between 5 and 20 seconds.

Toggle Animations

Animations can be toggled for users who may find them distracting.

Non-Persistent Popups

Popups can be dismissed by the escape key or clicking outside of the popup if this setting is enabled.

Confirm Decision Before Closing Popups

A confirmation will be required before closing the popup when Non-Persistent Popups is enabled. This will prevent a user from accidentally dismissing the popup with the escape key or mouse click.

Skip To Main Content Link

For improving keyboard accessibility, a “Skip to main content” link is present on every page. Located at the top left corner of the screen just below the header, the skip link is the first element to focus upon pressing the tab key. This link is hidden by default but will appear once it is tabbed into focus. When the enter key is pressed after the link is visible, the focus will be moved to the top of the main body of the webpage. This will skip the elements in the header that are often redundant for a user who is navigating by keyboard.
