Product License

FlexDeploy requires a product license to unlock its features. Every FlexDeploy installation comes with the product license that gives you unlimited access to all features, and is valid for 30 days after installation.

When you purchase the Standard, Professional or Enterprise Edition of FlexDeploy, you will be provided with a product license that will adjust the limits according to the terms of your contract. To view the current license select Administration -> License from the menu. Image below shows 300 users Enterprise Edition license with no other restrictions.

The License screen indicates which edition of FlexDeploy you are currently licensed for. It also indicates any expiration date and restrictions. You will also see warning if you are not in compliance with Users count. If there are any plugin restrictions in place, it will cause execution failures if restricted plugin is executed. i.e. let’s say you are not licensed for Salesforce plugin and try to perform build or deploy using Salesforce plugin, you will see execution failure.

You can click on Active Users link to see list of users counted for license compliance check. This consists of active FlexDeploy users and Code committers. Code committers for builds done in last 45 days are considered. Both user lists are consolidated by email and username match.

To update the license, click the Update Product Key button and select the license file provided to you by Flexagon at the time of your purchase or subscription renewal.
