adopCutover

Promotes Patch Edition for new Run Edition. With EBS 12.2, manual changes can be applied using online patching. FlexDeploy supports both traditional and online patching as a way of deploying your customizations and personalizations. Use this operation to cutover manual changes after deploy (apply) and adopFinalize operations.

If you would like to apply changes directly to run edition for EBS R 12.2+, specify the run param after the script. By default it connects to patch edition when performing the deploy operation. All other operations are sourced from run by default.

Application Restart

Specifies whether to restart application tier servers after cutover phase. Defaults to true. Leave as default unless you need to perform any manual steps during downtime.

Concurrent Manager Wait

Specifies the number of minutes to wait for Concurrent Manager shutdown. Defaults to forever. Adop cutover starts by requesting a concurrent manager shutdown and then waits for in-progress requests to complete. If Concurrent Manager does not shutdown within the specified time limit, remaining concurrent requests will be killed and cutover will proceed.

ADOP Additional Parameters

This operation doesn't consume or produce any artifacts.

Endpoint Selection

This operation will select all available App Tier (EBS Web Server/EBS Forms Service/ EBS MWA Server) resource type endpoints associated to the Target.

Endpoint Execution

This operation will run randomly on any App Tier (EBS Web Server/EBS Forms Service/ EBS MWA Server) resource type endpoint.
