Note that EBS_EDITIONED is a FlexDeploy managed variable which is set based on the presence of FILE_EDITION variable in the environment source script. This variable will be present in EBS 12.2+ only, and therefore, the soft link will be created relative to FND_TOP for prior EBS versions.
