FlexDeploy ships with an internal Issue Tracking System. This uses numeric work item numbers. Such Work Items can be created using Create menu on top right corner or from Work Items page using Create button.
Configure FlexDeploy ITS as Issue Tracking Instance on your project or parent folder (if overrides are not done). This will allow you to integrate FlexDeploy Work Items with your builds.
Once it is linked, you can associate Work Items to project builds. To associate with commit messages, use the format #id for example, #287. To associate Work Items manually to a build request, just use the id, for example, 287.
