A Folder is a container for organizing FlexDeploy projects. A Folder also provides a construct for identifying characteristics that apply to all sub-folders contained within it (e.g. security, approvals, notifications, and windows).
FlexDeploy comes pre-configured with a single root folder called FlexDeploy. Folders and projects are created inside of the FlexDeploy root folder.

Managing Folder Configuration
Folders do more than just organizing Projects. Each Folder in the Folder tree can define configuration that applies to each of each “children” in the tree. The simplest example is adding a notification to the root FlexDeploy
folder.
...
With that in place, each child folder automatically “inherits” that notification. We can see this by selecting a child folder and view the Notifications.
...
In the above example we can see Folder 0JIRA is inheriting a Notification from the FlexDeploy
root folder.
Overriding Folder Configuration
In the case where a Folder wants to define its own configuration or maybe just remove the inherited configuration altogether, click the Override toggle on the Folder.
...
At this point we can add/delete/edit any configuration as needed.
...

Overriding ConfigurationOnce a folder is Overriding configuration - all children will inherit this new overridden configuration. |
Additional Folder Configuration
All of the below configurations follow the same principle outlined above:
