The Notification step sends an custom email notification to the user, group, or email address configured on the step. The email is sent using the configured mail server on the Administration - System Settings menu.

Step Name | The name of the step. |
Description | An optional description for the step. |
Notification Type | Identifies the type of recipient(s) to notify - FlexDeploy User, FlexDeploy Group, or an arbitrary Email address. |
| Recipients | The recipient of the specified Notification Type. |
| Subject | The subject line for the email notification. |
| Message | The body for the email notification. |
| Precondition | An optional Groovy script which determines whether the gate or step is applicable during execution. The script has access to variables and methods listed in the expression |
| Continue | If checked, any failure will be ignored, and the pipeline execution will continue. |
| Notify Release Managers | If checked, an email notification will be sent to the release managers (configured on the release) on failure. |
