As seen in the screen shot, enabling this option is not secure. This exposes the docker client to anything else on the network. Meaning if the machine is the only thing on the network, it is likely safe. If the machine is publicly accessible, you have just exposed the docker client to the world. Because of these concerns, it is only recommended to use Docker Desktop for FlexDeploy for isolated networks during Proof of Concepts. |
